Xenon and Krypton flash lamps are confined arc flashlamps which produce microsecond to millisecond duration pulses of broadband light of high radiant intensities. Capable of operating at high repetition rates, these flashlamps generate light over a continuous spectrum from ultraviolet to infrared.
